Terms of Use — Nova Recorder

These terms apply to your use of Nova Recorder for iPhone and Apple Watch, developed by Yisrael Fried. Using the app means you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. What the app is

Nova Recorder is a personal tool that records your day from your Apple Watch or iPhone, so you can later go back to what was said, where you were and the moments you marked. The app is free.

2. Personal use only

The app is made for personal memory. You may not use it to monitor other people, eavesdrop on them, collect information about them without their knowledge, or for any other unlawful purpose.

3. Recording others is your responsibility

The app records everything the microphone hears, including the people around you. Recording laws differ from place to place: some allow recording a conversation you take part in, some require every participant's consent, and some forbid recording altogether. You alone are responsible for checking what is allowed and following the law, and for telling people you are recording when that is required.

4. Your recordings

Your recordings, locations and bookmarks belong to you. They are stored on your devices and in your iCloud account, and we have no access to them. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

5. No guarantee that data is kept

A lot of work went into not losing recordings: half-hour segments, confirmed transfers, and automatic recovery after interruptions. Still, devices turn off, batteries run out, operating systems close apps and storage fills up. The app is provided "as is", with no promise that every moment will be recorded or kept. Do not rely on it as the only record of anything important, such as legal evidence or a medical record.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages arising from using or being unable to use the app, including loss of recordings or data.

7. Apple

These terms are between you and the developer, not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

8. Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published at this address and the date above will change.

1. מה האפליקציה

Nova Recorder היא כלי אישי שמקליט את היום שלך מה-Apple Watch או מהאייפון, כדי שתוכל לחזור אחר כך למה שנאמר, לאיפה היית ולרגעים שסימנת. האפליקציה חינמית.

2. שימוש אישי בלבד

האפליקציה נועדה לזיכרון אישי. אסור להשתמש בה כדי לעקוב אחרי אנשים אחרים, להאזין להם בסתר, לאסוף עליהם מידע בלי ידיעתם, או לכל מטרה אחרת שאינה חוקית.

3. הקלטה של אחרים היא באחריותך

האפליקציה מקליטה את כל מה שהמיקרופון שומע, כולל אנשים שסביבך. החוקים לגבי הקלטה שונים ממקום למקום: יש מקומות שבהם מותר להקליט שיחה שאתה חלק ממנה, יש מקומות שבהם נדרשת הסכמה של כל המשתתפים, ויש מקומות שבהם אסור להקליט בכלל. אתה לבד אחראי לבדוק מה מותר ולפעול לפי החוק, ולהודיע לאנשים שאתה מקליט כשזה נדרש.

4. ההקלטות שלך

ההקלטות, המיקומים והסימניות שייכים לך. הם נשמרים במכשירים שלך ובחשבון ה-iCloud שלך, ואין לנו גישה אליהם. פרטים מלאים במדיניות הפרטיות.

5. אין אחריות לשמירת המידע

השקענו הרבה כדי שהקלטות לא ילכו לאיבוד: קטעים של חצי שעה, העברה עם אישור, וחזרה אוטומטית להקלטה אחרי הפרעה. ועדיין, מכשירים נכבים, סוללות נגמרות, מערכות הפעלה סוגרות אפליקציות ואחסון מתמלא. האפליקציה ניתנת "כמו שהיא", בלי התחייבות שכל רגע יוקלט או יישמר. אל תסתמך עליה כתיעוד יחיד של דבר חשוב, כמו ראיה משפטית או רישום רפואי.

6. הגבלת אחריות

ככל שהחוק מתיר, המפתח לא יהיה אחראי לנזק עקיף, תוצאתי או מיוחד שנובע מהשימוש באפליקציה או מחוסר היכולת להשתמש בה, כולל אובדן הקלטות או מידע.

7. Apple

התנאים האלה הם בינך לבין המפתח, לא בינך לבין Apple. Apple לא אחראית לאפליקציה או לתמיכה בה. ההסכם הסטנדרטי של Apple למשתמשי קצה (Licensed Application End User License Agreement) חל גם הוא.

8. שינויים

אם התנאים ישתנו, הגרסה החדשה תפורסם בכתובת הזאת ותאריך העדכון ישתנה.
